Shipping & Logistics

We use third party transport and shippers Worldwide and freight charges may fluctuate. All products will be packed to limit any damage in transit. Please be aware that the Island Location and the impact of Brexit can impact logistics. Pallet orders or full lorry consignments will be out loaded on wooden pallets, part orders will be packaged securely and transported via our designated delivery partners.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Please contact us if any goods are delivered faulty within 24 hours of receipt of delivery, by email to info@orkneybakery.co.uk. Photographic evidence will be required as proof of any damages and any such fault, must be reported to the delivery company at the handover of goods. Claims cannot be accepted if not agreed by the third-party transporter in writing. Refunds will only be provided when it is proven that the product/s are faulty. Any such refunds will be made within 30 days of the agreed claim.

In the event confirmed orders are being processed, the buyer will remain liable for any costs in the event of any order cancellations.

All products are produced in accordance with the terms of our SALSA approval.

Payment Terms

For all orders, payment will be required with order confirmation in advance of Shipment from Orkney and prior to the production of goods. Trade accounts available, subject to credit checks and approved references.

Product Availability

Argo’s Bakery Limited reserve the right to adjust the product range and product specifications and prices at any time and the buyer has the right not to accept such changes without notification from the seller. Due to the nature of some of the products containing alcohol, orders can only be confirmed by buyers over the age of 18 years.

Force Majeure

The seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to provide goods as per the agreed terms between the seller and buyers as a result of machinery or computer breakdowns, acts of God, War, disease, accidents, fire and/or unavailability of raw materials due to unforeseen weather conditions.

The Seller will make every effort to maintain the prices agreed; but reserves the right to increase prices in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

The Trademarks, intellectual property and content of this site remain the sole property of Argo’s Bakery Ltd, under Scottish UK Law.
